We connect packaging buyers with suppliers through our smart procurement platform – think of it as the missing link between “I need 1,000,000 cardboard boxes” and “here’s the best supplier for your specs.”\nWe have hit product-market fit, have paying customers, and now we our looking to scale. This time, we are doing it in packaging.\nTasks\nThe honest situation\nRight now, our tech team is tiny: one senior developer and our CTO. We are not a 50-person engineering org with layers of process. We are two people who ship things.\nThat is where you come in.\nWhat you will do\nYou will be the third engineer – but really, the first hire that shapes how we grow. You will work across our main platform (Java/Angular) and touch our AI-powered document processing system (Python). You will help us build CI/CD pipelines, improve test coverage, and strengthen our engineering foundations.\nThis is not a “implement tickets from Jira” role. You ‘ll have opinions. You’ll push back. You’ll help us decide what to build, not just how.\nThe tech\n- Back-end: Java 17, Dropwizard, PostgreSQL\n- Front-end: Angular 16+\n- Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3), Docker, Redis\n- Side quest: Python/FastAPI\nYou don’t need all of it.
