Finance Lead (m/w/d)

Our partner is an established, fast-growing technology company based in Hamburg. As Finance Lead (m/f/d), you report directly to the executive management, take ownership of building scalable finance processes and proactively support the company’s further development.

Aufgaben

• The Finance Lead safeguards the company’s financial stability by ensuring smooth operations across bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, compliance, and controlling.

• With a constant overview of cash flow and risks, this role provides clear insights that enable sound executive decisions and support sustainable growth.

• Oversee and ensure flawless execution of all financial operations including accounting, bookkeeping, payments, and compliance

• Maintain continuous oversight of cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Provide regular financial reporting and actionable insights to the executive team

• Supervise and develop finance team members

Qualifikation

• University degree or equivalent formal education in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or consulting, including initial team and/or project leadership experience, ideally in a startup or dynamic business environment.

• Deep knowledge of German and international accounting standards (HGB and IFRS).

• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders in German and English. (min. C1)

• Brings an entrepreneurial mindset with sharp analytical skills, anticipates risks early, and works with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in modern financial tools and systems.

• Previous experience in building and scaling finance operations and processes.
