Junior Risk Manager

Aufgaben

• Monitor risk limits and exposures (market, liquidity, counterparty) and support escalations

• Run and validate core risk metrics and risk-bearing capacity calculations

• Maintain and automate risk dashboards, data checks, and reporting pipelines

• Support stress tests and scenario analyses for market events

• Assist with quantitative counterparty risk reviews and exposure tracking

• Help develop, test, and document risk models for crypto portfolios

• Prepare concise inputs for risk reports and projects to senior management

Qualifikation

• Strong academic foundation in a quantitative field such as economics, mathematics, physics, or computer science

• Experience in risk management (up to 2 years) in the financial services industry is an advantage

Very good knowledge of MS Office suite

• Experience in risk model development with programming skills (e.g. VBA, Python, R, SQL) is an advantage

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively working with data

• Interest in traditional financial products and digital assets

• A self-driven and motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills in English and German

• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for a securities trading institution (IFR, WpIG, MaRisk)

• Enthusiasm and initial experience in the area of digital assets are preferred
