(Senior) Backend Engineer (m/f/d) - Golang

Your Mission

You will help us to keep improving our projects and bring them to the next level, establish new services using modern approaches and following programming standards to fulfil the requirements of our multi-platform applications. Rebuild old concepts, translate them to well known programming-patterns, and transparent and maintainable business logic.

Our Tech-Stack

• Golang, Kotlin, Node.js, Java 17

• Gin-Gonic, Ktor, NestJS, Spring Boot

• Elasticsearch, RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (Dynamo, Mongo, Redis)

• Terraform, Docker (stateless services), Kubernetes, Event-Driven Architecture, AWS

Your Story

• You have 4+ years of professional experience working with backend focused full-stack development (infrastructure as well)

• 3+ years of experience contributing to microservice architectures (reliability, scaling, and stateless applications) and considering design patterns and best practices (event driven systems, clean architecture, backend for frontend)

• 3+ years of experience in designing REST APIs following openspec standards

• Relevant experience in Golang and Gin-Gonic. Nice to haves are JVM languages (Kotlin / Java), JS/TS and frameworks like Ktor, Spring, Node.js

• Ability to design proof of concepts and prototypes

• Standardised coding practises including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development

• Open-minded and interested in state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies

Nice to have

• Embrace a Product Engineer mindset: Balancing technical excellence with business impact by proactively identifying trade-offs that prioritize user value and speed-to-market without compromising long-term system health.

• Ability to communicate openly and clearly with the whole Product & Engineering team and additional stakeholders

• You to promote good relationships in your guild and are always humble and willing to learn from others
