acemate is building an AI learning & teaching platform for higher and further education institutions. We have strong traction, secured funding and are entering an exciting growth phase. We're looking for a passionate Growth Engineer (Working Student) to drive our product forward and help us scale.

We have an office in Berlin and believe in the value of in-person work, but we’re also realistic about the time people spend commuting.

Tasks

What You'll Do

Your role is to bridge the gap between engineering and business. As a Growth Engineer (Working Student), you will focus on the entire user journey, from landing page visits to the first payment. You will build the engine for growth while collaborating with the founders.

Experimentation & Conversion

• Analyze our user journey to identify where users drop off and implement technical solutions to fix the leaks.

• Design and run experiments to see what actually drives revenue growth.

• Work closely with the founders to implement and optimize our billing process to maximize conversion.

Technical Growth Implementation

• Build and deploy technical solutions specifically designed to drive revenue and move our core business metrics.

• Analyze the performance of your deployments to refine features based on the findings.

• Develop and optimize product features that increase user activation and foster long-term engagement across the platform.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS

• Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)

• Infrastructure: Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, Workflows, R2, KV), Google Cloud (Gemini, Cloud Run)

• Tools: Sentry, Langfuse, PostHog, Stripe

Don't worry if you're not familiar with everything from the start. We believe in your ability to learn fast and adapt to new frameworks and tools as we go.
