Since 2018, we have developed, built, and operated large-scale solar PV projects across seven core markets.\nTHE ROLE OVERVIEW\nAs Senior Yield & Performance Engineer, you will be in charge of defining and developing our processes and guidelines for yield simulations and performance analysis of renewable energy projects (PV & BESS), as well as defining and implementing specifications and guidelines for our external O&M Service Providers. You will coordinate and communicate yield simulations and performance analysis tasks between internal and external stakeholders.\nTASKS\n- Define and develop internal processes and guidelines for yield simulation and performance analysis of PV, BESS and hybrid systems\n- Perform detailed yield simulations to optimize project designs techno economically\n- Train and support our design engineers in yield simulation and plant optimization tasks\n- Coordination of yield studies with external Technical Advisors, review and revise yield reports of 3rd parties\n- Deliver technical input for commercial risk assessment and cost optimization\n- Define and monitor performance ratio test procedures and definitions with external stakeholders\n- Oversee commissioning for monitoring system and portal integration\n- Analysis of plant performance of our operating assets to improve performance, implement lessons learned in engineering process and coordinate findings with other departments\n- Create a performance analysis platform for our assets in operation to visualize performance (target-actual comparison) and generate monthly reports to share with external stakeholders\n- Communicate internally with project development, project management, technical teams and asset operations.\n- Regular communication and reporting internally and to our external stakeholders\nPROFILE\n- Engineering degree (electrical, industrial, or similar)\n- 5+ years proven experience in design, simulation and performance analysis of renewable energy systems\n- Solid understanding of yield simulation software and tools (e.g. PVsyst, PVcase yield, etc.)\n- Experience with monitoring software / portals\n- Proven knowledge and experience to review and evaluate 3rd party energy yield studies and turn the findings into clear design actions.\n- Strong analytical skills\n- Commercial understanding for preparing contractual agreements with clients and service providers.\n- Clear communicator who aligns engineers, project managers, contractors, asset managers, external O&M Service Providers.\n- Fluent in English, with a full driving licence and willingness to travel.\n- Solid understanding of PV and BESS systems and components.\n- Programming skills\n- Stakeholder management experience\nBecome part of a committed team shaping the future of clean energy, together.\nCONTACT\nDo you have questions about your career at ILOS?
